Digital Strategy LLC is looking to hire a

Data Engineer

to help drive impactful insights through the delivery of pivotal data analytics products tailored for federal clients. Our data analytics solutions make a meaningful impact on government staffing, engagement, performance, and efficiency.

Specific duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
Work with senior data engineers to gather and understand data requirements from various stakeholders.
Develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions to move and transform data from various sources into target systems.
Collaborate with data architects and database administrators to optimize data storage and retrieval.
Assist in data quality assurance, data cleansing, and data validation efforts.
This role is a hybrid position and will require some work on-site in Rockville, Maryland

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
10+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Data Engineer.
A Master's Degree may substitute for two (2) years' of experience.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in Agile product development methodologies, fostering flexibility and adaptability.
Experience with recruiting and workforce planning activities and data is a plus.
Due to federal guidelines, US Citizenship is required for this role.
