Job Details:

Work 4x10 hour shifts
Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted if they have 3+ years of experience)

Required certifications:
ACLS, BCLS, ARRT, RCIS (either RCIS or ARRT accepted)

Minimum 2 days call per week and every 3rd weekend required
40 hours of orientation provided
Work with patients of all ages: adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Handle approximately 8 visits per day in 2-room facility
Circulate procedures and provide conscious sedation
Perform cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temporary and permanent pacers/defibs, pericardial effusion, STEMI call
Perform IR procedures including venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embos, and various internal bleeds

Operate specialized equipment:
Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, Inari

Experience with Cerner charting system required
Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Two supervisor references required

Facility:
This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology department featuring state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The facility provides both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization services as well as comprehensive interventional radiology procedures.

The department maintains high standards for patient care with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
