- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with environmental regulations governing facility operations.
- Maintain ISO 14001 registration standards and support efforts for additional certifications
- Manage hazardous materials transportation, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
- Support safety compliance programs for both the manufacturing facility and corporate offices/labs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and facilitate cross-training.
- Demonstrate effective project management skills.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and data-driven reporting.
- Foster collaboration with various departments.
- Make decisions that prioritize success.
- Deliver high-quality reports that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Champion innovative opportunities and contribute to new product development (if applicable).
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
- Chemical industry experience is a plus
- Prior experience in environmental compliance and/or sustainability.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Financial acumen a plus.
