    Regal Rexnord Corporation, a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to perform a wide variety of manufacturing related duties.

    This includes but is not limited to assisting engineers throughout process validation and sustainment of mechanical seals, bearings and other Regal Rexnord Aerospace products.

    This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
    This position is located in Downers Grove, IL.

    Key AccountabilitiesThe Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting a variety of continuous improvement initiatives, included, but not limited to the following:
    Assisting Engineers with sustainment of existing productsSupporting implementation of lean manufacturing action plansProduction and Technical data analysis in support of project initiativesSupport of standard work implementation and validationGeneral Kaizen Event participation, support and preparationCell layout development and implementation (Machine layout, visual management, safety validation, etc...)

    Perform other related duties as assigned.
    Job RequirementsCapabilities and Success FactorsThis position requires the applicant to be a US Person with an US permanent residence.

    Currently enrolled in a four year Mechanical Engineering Bachelors programAt least one year of engineering coursework completedBasic understanding of key mechanical design and manufacturing principles, such as Statics, Dynamics, Mechanical Design, Thermodynamics, Materials and Heat TransferAbility to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed decisions.

    Proficient in Microsoft Word and advanced MS Excel skillsKnowledge of 3D Solid Modeling software such as SolidWorksHigh level of interpersonal skillsCapable of working within a team structureDetail oriented and self-motivatedExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to create and interpret drawings and specificationsEffective problem solverRewardsIn addition to gaining invaluable experience and having the opportunity grow, you will be rewarded with:
