    Overview:

    The Biden For President Campaign is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee our Security Operations team and to lead key initiatives, whether it be security training, security tools deployment, or bolstering our zero trust strategy.

    This person will work hand in hand with our IT team to ensure platforms are configured and maintained securely. Additionally, this individual will interact and coordinate with our SoC team & our CISO.

    We are looking for candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.

    Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and develop a team consisting of engineers and other security professionals.
    Oversee the Campaign's security training program.

    Support our secure device strategy for hardening a mobile device fleet, both campaign-owned and BYOD.Support Enterprise IAM, and drive its continuous expansion & improvement.

    Design and implement a SIEM pipeline with effective alerting.

    Oversee continuous improvement of our SoC.Work with the CISO to define other security tools needed to mitigate risks faced by the Campaign.

    Work with the IT Operations Manager and IT Director to ensure all IT systems are configured and maintained in a secure fashion.

    Create and drive proactive monitoring and reporting for endpoint and system health including, patching, compliance, and other performance metrics.
    Evaluate and communicate security risk to a wide and varying audience.
    Preferred Skills & QualificationsAt least 4 years of experience in IT/Information Security.
    Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization.
    CISSP, CCSP, or other security-focused certifications preferred.$95,000 - $120,000 a yearDue to FEC regulations, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible to apply for this role.
