    Job Title: Program Director

    Status: Full Time Salaried | FLSA Classification: Exempt

    Summary of Position:

    The Program Director is responsible for the overall administration of the Baltimore DJS Program. This includes provision of client services, personnel management, and budget management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Services:
      • Ensure clients receive appropriate services, hours, contacts, services, specified monies, and activities as required by contract with the referring authority or third-party payor.
      • Verify all services have been authorized or reauthorized by the referring authority or third-party payor.
    • Intake Process:
      • Interview referrals and family members along with referring authority staff.
      • Develop and implement a strength-based service or treatment plan using the wraparound plan model.
    • Service Delivery:
      • Monitor delivery provided by staff and ensure goals in the service or treatment plans are implemented.
      • Implement revisions to the plan resulting from changing needs or case reviews.
    • Priorities:
      • Identify, recruit, hire, train, monitor, and supervise direct service professional and administrative staff.
      • Provide training sessions for program personnel and promote cross-training among staff.
      • Conduct staff meetings and training sessions.
    • Budget Management:
      • Manage the local program within budget parameters.
      • Submit administrative, fiscal, and billing documents and database information to The Support Center for processing.
    • Professional Development:
      • Assist staff in creative problem solving and securing needed professional resources for clients.
      • Develop plans for discharge which include community linkages supporting the client and family after termination of service.

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Health and Human Services area (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling).
    • At least one year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
