    Description:Blue Origin is seeking 10 Welders to join their team to support a project through Dec 2025.Performs welding processes on aluminum, steel, and alloy parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys and precision blending using hand tools to prepare metallic surfaces for welding and non-destructive evaluation. Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures. Joins metal parts to form a permanent bond. Welds metal components and parts using standard specialized equipment such as gas welders and gas torches and may also utilize friction stir welding (FSW) methods using solid-state joining.-Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc.) and pressurized system safety.
    • Knowledgeable in the use of 3 D CAD tools (CREO is preferred), and ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.
    5M-1994 standard.
    • Knowledge of drawing review, scheduling and work order systems, inventory, and various issue tracking systems TIG welding aerospace stainless steel and inconel hardware, using manual and/or automatic equipment.
    • Weld preparation including cutting, blending, chamfering, and cleaning parts.
    • Design support and fabrication of tooling for welding and assembly.
    • Communicate with engineers on design concepts, offering suggestions for improvements to the design.

    Blueprint, GD&T, tolerances, assembly, calipers, precision, Tig, Welding, inconel, Inspection, Sheet metal, Tig welding, Fabrication, inconel weldingValidated experience with DC- and AC-TIG welding of aerospace stainless steels and aluminum, inconel alloys.
    Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
