    Job Summary

    Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university dedicated to quality education, research, and service.     Assignments will include teaching, at both undergraduate and/or graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.

    Job Description

    Typical duties include but are not limited to:
    • Teaches core or elective courses in the undergraduate Exercise Science program as applicable.
    • Contributes to course and/or curriculum development.

    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Exercise science or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Doctorate degree or higher in from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
    • Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate level.
    • Five or more years of experience in the discipline.
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Knowledge of strength and conditioning techniques.
    • Knowledge of fitness assessment training.
