Job DescriptionAdecco is hiring immediately for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist job in Georgia, VT with pay starting at $20/hr. As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. Work schedule will be Friday - Sunday, 6am - 6:30pm (36hrs, paid for 40)

Responsibilities:

• Prepares orders for transport; (packs, seals, labels and affix postage)
  
• Prepares orders for shipment in accordance with order profile and customer requirements
  
• Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
  
• Records shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes
  
• Load trucks with packaged materials and ensuring shipment is routed correctly and signed for by driver
  
• Verifies inventory counts by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigating discrepancies, or adjusting errors
  
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
  
• Operates various types of equipment in the warehouse, including RF Scanners, forklifts, Pallet Jacks, hand tools, and power tool
  
• Prepares documents work orders or bills of lading; custom doc's
  
• Contacts carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
  
• Maintains safe work area in a clean and orderly condition; comply with safety procedures and operating rules
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GE
  
• 2 year related experience/training; OR Equivalent of education and experience
  
• Ability to make decisions, in a fast-paced work environment
  
• Ability to function well under pressure
  
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and fill out various forms and controlled documents
  
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints knowledgably and respectfully
  
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
