    We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and React framework to join our team responsible of building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office 365 users.

    The mission is to deliver the visualization tools and UIs allowing our users to work with LSEG data content a seamless way such as build pitchbooks, create nice visuals they can present to their clients/management/colleagues.


    Main Responsibilities:
    Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements Develop software using disciplined software development principles and lead Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements Reuse existing systems that drive complex applications Ensures responsiveness for applications and services Identify and resolve performance and stability issues Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables Collaborate with Product Managers to have comprehensive product workflows Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

    Essential Skills and Experience Required:
    2+ years experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and React framework Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment) Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

    Compensation/Benefits Information (New York City applicants only):

    LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $82,000 - $152,200.

    Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.

    LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
