- Mentor supervisors and engineers in their goals to improve products.
- Work with manufacturing engineering in the selection of manufacturing best practices and design for manufacturability practices.

- Will be assigned tasks for training and development purposes.
- Other duties, as assigned to support company goals.
- Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods
- Occasional travel, mainly for training purposes, customer projects, trips to Japan
- Occasional physical demand of moving or rearranging files and file storage boxes, and or product
- Occasional physical demand of moving and relocating production/lab equipment in a production environment may expose the employee to noise, heat, cold, dust, oil, grease, and/or coolants; and may require wearing Personal Protective Equipment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar discipline
- Preferred Master's Degree in Engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum 10+ years' experience, with at least 5 years of in a supervisory/management role
- Complete understanding of the company's operations
- Good oral and written skills
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers tactfully and in a professional manner

PURPOSE
A fully competent professional in all conventional aspects of the subject matter or the functional area of the assignments; such as the ability to plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
