    Turning Point Brands is seeking a CPG Product Marketing Manager for the iconic Zig Zag brand.

    Zig-Zag is a world-famous brand, with a proud heritage of leadership dating to 1879 and is the leading premium paper in both the United States and Canada, today.

    Over the past decade, Zig-Zag has successfully expanded its consumer base into new product categories such as cigar wraps, hemp paper, and paper cones.

    This role is responsible for the ideation, development, partnership, support of sourcing and procurement, and go to market plans of all new products developed for Zig Zag and other potential smokable products at Turning Point Brands.

    This individual will be a member of the Revenue organization, reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager, Zig Zag.

    Essential Functions


    Following the Stage Gate process, responsible for ideation, strategy, and lead of all new products developed for Zig Zag and other potential smokable products and accessories.

    Collaborate with Operations and Procurement team on sourcing and procurement of materials needed for new products with a focus on costs and efficiency.

    Responsible for leading and implementing go to market strategies and plans, along with various other marketing activities, of and around promoting new product launches in the TPB portfolio.

    Ideate, develop and execute plans and promotions for new product launches (in support of the Marketing "Ps") to ensure maximum effectiveness – measured through analysis and reporting of performance data to synthesize daily, weekly, monthly sales performance aimed at achieving company KPIs maximizing revenue.

    Conduct ongoing research of new or competing products, and continuously optimize user experiences to ensure best practices for consumers to discover and purchase our products.

    Partner with Brand Manager to develop 3+ year product roadmap and lead planning.

    Define and drive key brand strategies for new products across multiple channels while optimizing revenue programs and pursue new customers/channels in an effort to achieve established performance goals.

    Assist in the onboarding of new products and vendors into TPB's systems.
    Participate in certain vendor negotiations and setup for new products and vendors into the company's systems. Assist with vendor management and budget coding.
    Negotiate some vendor contracts and work with legal on the deployment of various new product initiatives.
    Partner with numerous cross functional partners, especially the Regulatory team, to ensure engagement and alignment with new product initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in marketing.
    5+ years brand management and product marketing experience preferred.
    Experience with and understanding of omnichannel customers; CPG shopper and customer dynamics.
    Expertly skilled in MS Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Google Analytics.
    Project management certification and/or experience developing timelines using software platform.
    Organized, punctual, detail oriented, keen eye for design, proficient writer, creative.
    Strong project management skills and proven experience in leading a project from ideation to successful execution.

    Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Pay range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 a year.
