    Job Summary:

    As a Mechanical Assembler, you are expected to perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment. You will perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • No minimum education required
    • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
    • Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
    • Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
    • Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining
    • Work from drawings and specifications and shop orders
    • Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices
    • Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
    • Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
    • Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
    • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
