RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for Physical Security Plans, Procedures, and Inspections as well as inventory and maintaining key and lock control.
•Implementing and maintaining compliance with ICD 705 regulations.
•Assists with the operation of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control Systems (ACS).
•Conducts scheduling and training for various Government programs (e.g. Anti-terrorism Force Protection, Random Anti-terrorism Measures, Continuity of Operations Plan, Emergency Management Procedures).
•Responsible for changing lock combinations associated with security containers.
•Manages the physical security self-assessment and resource management programs.
•Conduct detailed inventories of security containers and safes and ensure accountability of all safes.
•Plans and conducts installation vulnerability assessment to include scheduling and conducting physical security audits (inspections)
•Maintains a Physical Security Action Plan and coordinates and maintains an up-to-date Threat Assessment
•Conducts physical security surveys threat, and risk analysis, conducts random anti-terrorism measures; reviews Unified Facility Criteria (UFCs) and recommends new construction building requirements.
•Review secure room construction requirements.
•Inventories and maintains security binders for daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.
•Conducts fence line and lighting surveys reports once a year or as requested by the Government.
•Assists the Security Site Manager with inquiries and investigations.
•Assists with access control during classified meetings.
•Assists with escorting visitors in secure buildings.
•Supports Test Range events and provides, escort, access control at gates and facilities as needed.
•Works with Security Specialist Government Civilians to successfully complete all Physical Security Inspections.
•Prepares written reports and briefings as needed.
Requirements
Desirable Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in
•Operating Defense Information Security System (DISS)
•Operating Velocity (access control data base)
