- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to students, either individually or in small groups, to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' overall academic and social development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
- Stay informed about best practices and new developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- At least one year of recent experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
