    Job Summary

    The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA.

    Main responsibilities include:

    • SUPPORTING AND CONDUCTING STRATEGIC NEGOTIATION EVENTS FOR THE SOFTWARE AND SaaS CATEGORY
    • BUILDING AND CREATING RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL CLIENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR CONTRACTING NEEDS
    • CREATING AND MANAGING RFx PROCESSES FOR COMPLEX PRODUCTS AND SERVICES FROM STRATEGIC REQUIREMENTS TO SOLUTION EVALUATION AND FORMAL AWARD
    • BUILDING AND REFINING CATEGORY PLAN TO GAIN STAKEHOLDER AND SOURCING LEADERSHIP ALIGNMENT ON APPROACH TO SAVINGS AND PROJECT PRIORITIES
    • Negotiating business terms with IT vendors and partners (large and small), to minimize risk and maximize price efficiencies.

    This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, quality assurance, and follow-through. The salary range is $105,900 to $137,580.00 annually.

    Requirements:

    • 4-year college degree, graduate degree preferred.
    • Solid finance experience in a large organization with the ability to create savings models for complex projects.
    • Demonstrated expertise leading complex vendor negotiations.
    • Experience with analytically challenging projects including a thorough understanding of budgeting and financial management.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Consulting (including internal consulting) experience is a big plus
    • Degree or minor in quantitative field such as economics, math, statistics, managerial accounting, business management, etc. is preferred
