Job summary
The Field Engineer (FE) works directly for the Superintendent and is expected to exercise judgment and discretion in making recommendations, implementing policies and procedures and handling a wide variety of matters in the field.The position is normally preparatory to becoming an Office Engineer or Project Engineer.
+Responsibilities
- Project layout (surveying) in conformance with design and contract documents.
- Check concrete forms for accuracy and adequacy of construction, including all embedded items, before placement of concrete.
- Perform production trend analysis for quantities of work in place and report for the weekly schedule.
