    Senior Risk Services Executive

    Salary Range:
    $73, $126,582.07

    Job Description Summary:

    The person in this position is responsible for generating revenue by representing Sourcewell's Risk Services solutions. This position is directly responsible achieving profit and margin goals by managing risk pools served and generating fees by administrating risk pools. This position will develop and execute on plans to engage with new pools, increase membership in pools, and drive growth in Risk Services. This position will represent Sourcewell at internal and external meetings.

    Job Description:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Actively manage the Risk Services business unit to achieve P&L goals
    • Develop and execute on business plans to drive growth of the Risk Services business unit with limited guidance.
    • Effectively launch new Risk Services solutions and onboard new clients and partners.
    • Develop and deliver insurance renewals and proposals from underwriting, actuarial review, and final insurance premium development with limited guidance.
    • Effectively support membership governance to make informed decisions regarding financial positions, wellness programs, renewals, premium development and other considerations.
    • With limited guidance, develop and employ risk management strategies to improve and grow solutions, meet our financial goals, and provide high quality service to members.
    • Ensure compliance with awarded contract terms and with all internal and external regulatory requirements.
    2. Manage relationships with customers (i.e. suppliers, members, administrators, partners, brokers, and insurance agents
    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all appropriate levels of customers to support our goals in a cost-effective manner.
    • With some guidance, develop and execute on account management strategies to provide high touch customer service with a high level of attention to detail.
    • Effectively manage and deliver training on how to best for sell Sourcewell solutions through various in-person and virtual methods.
    • Ensure that accurate information about Sourcewell solutions is effectively communicated and embraced by the supplier sales management team, dealers, and sales representatives.
    • Effectively manage the process of supporting suppliers in developing marketing strategies and material to promote market segment, category, and contract growth.
    • Attend and effectively present at tradeshows, conferences, internal supplier events and Sourcewell organized events to drive growth of Risk Services and increase awareness of Sourcewell and our solutions.
    3. Capture and develop Voice of Customer insights from and for members, administrators, partners, brokers, and insurance agents)
    • Manage the process of capturing insights from all of our customers about current and future trends in the industry, general market, and potential clients.
    • Effectively represent suppliers to internal Sourcewell teams to establish strategies, focus Government Relations efforts, enhance procurement processes, and improve other procedures to ensure that our internal efforts allow for sustained growth of contract sales.
    • Effectively support the Category Development team by providing them with insight about current or future categories, suppliers, and agency needs.
    • Effectively manage relationships with industry consultants, associations, and publications.
    4. Effectively represents the Risk, Benefits and Insurance team at internal meetings and participates in the annual planning process

    Additional Job Description:

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study AND four (4) years of demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience, OR
    • A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of eight (8) years.
    • Two (2) years of public speaking and/or sales presentation experience
    • Business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Two (2) years of sales experience
    • Health Insurance License required
    Minimum requirements for the Principal Risk Services Executive position:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study AND five (5) years of demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience, OR
    • A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of nine (9) years.
    • Five (5) years of public speaking and/or sales presentation experience
    • Business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Five (5) years of sales and/or sales management experience
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Six (6) years of demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience
    • Four (4) years of public speaking or sales presentation experience
    • Four (4) or more years of business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement
    • Four (4) years of sales experience

    Salary Range:
    • Senior Risk Services Executive, Grade 10, $73, $103,328.67 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience.
    • Principal Risk Services Executive, Grade 13, $90, $126,582.07 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience.

    Location:
    • This is a remote position with some driving time expected on occasion within in the state of Minnesota, and is subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures. Applicants should be located within the state of MN.
    • On occasion may be expected to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
