    Description

    Duties

    • As the Portfolio Manager at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), you will provide leadership and supervision for Customer Advocates, Technical Project Managers, Program Analysts, and other professional and technical personnel within the Portfolio Directorate.
    • Responsible for workload acceptance and execution process including customer negotiations, defining tasks, funds allocation, progress reporting, and deliverables.
    • Act as the principal Command representative to external stakeholders for project coordination and collaboration.
    • Perform supervisory responsibilities such as assignment of work, technical oversight, development of performance plans, and evaluation of work performance.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
    • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
    • Required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

    Qualifications

    • Resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) in the Federal service or private/public sector.
    • Specialized experience involves providing direction or guidance in projects related to energetics or energetic systems.

    Education

    • This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

    Additional information

    • Covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
    • Located in the Customer Advocate Office (0CA).
    • NT-6 pay band equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
    • Relocation incentives may be authorized.
    • Veteran's preference does not apply.
