    Medical City Plano Event - Registered Nurse - Wednesday, March 4thWe are inviting RNs in the following Specialty areas: Ortho/Trauma, ICU Stepdown, Neuro Specialty, NICU, SurgeryInterview times will be scheduled by appointment only 1p-5pAttire for this event is scrubs and tennis shoes for job shadowing.

    If you do not have scrubs, pants/slacks are fine with tennis shoes.

    What you will do in this role: Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

    Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
    Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
    Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
    Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of patients.


    What qualifications you will need:

    Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital. We have more than 2,000 employees and over 1,400 physicians on staff. Our main campus in Plano has a cancer treatment center and cardiovascular programs. We have The Bariatric Surgery Institute, a Wound Care Center and inpatient rehabilitation. We also offer complete women's and children's services. This includes a high-risk antepartum unit and a Level 3 neonatal intensive-care unit.
