Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote/Onsite)

Job Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer plays a vital role in creating and supporting standard and ad hoc reports for IT and Business Senior Management. They collaborate with Business Analysts and key business contacts to convert functional and technical specifications into a comprehensive reporting design. This position also involves analyzing complex data, designing new reports, and working closely with business clients to enhance systems.

Duties

Act as a liaison between I.T. Business Intelligence team and business clients
Design database architectures, data warehouses, and data migrations
Create and maintain business intelligence packages and user reporting solutions
Develop ETL solutions to bring new data into the data warehouse
Meet with technical leaders to identify effective reporting techniques and design reporting formats
Collaborate with junior team members and mid-Level professionals to drive projects to completion
Complete projects on schedule and according to commitments

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience

Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience

5+ years experience with Pixel perfect Report development using BI Publisher
5+ years experience with dashboard development using OBIEE
3+ years experience with PL/SQL and/or SSIS
3+ years experience with Tableau and Self-service reporting models
Advanced knowledge of SQL
Healthcare experience a plus

Skills

Required: Knowledge of ETL technology, hands-on report development experience, ability to multitask and prioritize work, adaptability to changing tools, and strong communication skills

Additional skills include hardware/software configurations, programming, and being service-oriented, decisive, emotionally intelligent, and results-oriented
