- Administering fluorescein and indocyanine green dye for angiography, and Visudyne for photodynamic therapy (PDT) intravenously in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the administration of Photodynamic Therapy in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct review of patient schedules with physicians to determine the medical necessity of administering above mentioned substances for angiography or PDT procedure.
- Providing compassionate care and emotional support to patients undergoing procedures.
- Assisting physicians and other clinical staff during procedures as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of patient care activities, including procedure notes and patient records.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices and advancements in IV therapy and retina care.
