Job Description

As a Security Officer - Entry Authorization in Lake Worth, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control and guest entry, verify credentials, and help maintain accurate visitor logs. You will conduct routine patrols and provide a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents, while delivering strong customer service and clear communication with residents, guests, and your team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or delivery drivers by following access control procedures and site-specific policies.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and manage visitor registration and pass issuance per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or property concerns.

Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel and/or property management.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Have customer service experience, preferred.

Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.

Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
