SDET - Contract - McLean, VA / Hybrid - $50.00-$60.00/hr

Cognizant is seeking a SDET in McLean, VA / Hybrid.

Role Description

Skills & Requirements

• At least 7+ year of relevant experience.

• Must have Experience with programming in Python, Java or other Programming Languages

• Must have experience in UI, API Web Services/Micro services Development/Automation testing and creating automated test scripts with Cypress/Selenium/rest Assured/PACT.IO/any similar Java libraries.

• Must have experience in XML and JSON request and response parsing, integrating databases like MongoDB/DB2.

• Hands on Experience using Java IDE's Such as Eclipse, IntelliJ Etc.

• Should have Experience using Java, Maven or Gradle.

• Should be able to understand the user stories and convert them into Gherkin Test Scenarios.

• Should be able to write the feature file to create the API automation test cases and generate the cucumber test reports.

• Good communication skills to interact with Project Stakeholders.

• Experience working in Agile environment.

• Experience in implementing CI / CD and Jenkin integrations and maintaining pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud development and AWS services such as EC2, S3 , Lambda etc.
