We invite you to come work with us where your contributions are valued your voice is heard and your career is forged with purpose.Maintain Housekeeping in area Observe and follow all plant and departmental safety rules regulations Maintain safe work environment Attend safety meetings Report/repair any unsafe condition behavior or equipment Operates all equipment in area Has proven ability to problem solve Centerless Grinding related issues Assures that customer requirements specifications are met Performs all operation use of gauges measurement tools related to position Performs testing equipment verification Performs preventive maintenance troubleshoots corrects/repairs equipment malfunctions breakdowns Assists Maintenance Engineering where needed Sets up operates one more centerless grinding machines grind external cylindrical surfaces metal workpieces blueprint specifications following tooling instructions standard charts applying knowledge grinding procedures Reads blueprint job order product specifications dimensions tolerances number parts ground tooling instructions grinding speeds feed rates holding fixtures grinding wheels used Mounts grinding wheel regulating wheel spindles wrenches Dresses wheels specifications using dressing device Moves controls set specified grinding speeds feed rates spacing between wheel faces Positions secures work rest specified height using wrenches Lifts positions workpiece manually hoist secures between wheels on work rest Starts machine observes operation Verifies dimensions ground workpiece conformance specifications measuring instruments micrometers calipers preset gauges Changes worn grinding wheels using wrenches May set up automatic worfeeding device
A high school diploma or GED required
