    Description

    As a Post Closer, you are responsible for processing and requesting mortgage related documentation, preparing investor packages for purchase, and assisting with corrections to final documents. Depending on your assignment, you may flex between one or more of the following focus areas:

    • Imaging
    • Shipping
    • Final Documents
    Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

    Imaging
    • Receive, audit, and archive legible complete copies of loan packages and final documents received and coordinate with the title company to resolve any issues.
    • Work with the warehouse lines to clear exceptions on documents, ensure that collateral is received in a timely matter, and process all the documents to ensure they meet warehouse requirements.
    • Remain knowledgeable on company and industry guidelines and processes.
    • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
    Shipping
    • Review and prepare investor packages for loan purchase in accordance with investor-specific deadlines.
    • Review and resolve loan packages delivered with deficiencies.
    • Remain knowledgeable on company and industry guidelines and processes.
    • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
    Final Documents
    • Obtain and/or make corrections as necessary to final documents. Provide internal communication for re-signing and corrections, and coordinate with borrowers and settlement agents.
    • Maintain regular communication with settlement agencies in order to provide updates on the status of outstanding documents.
    • Ensure delivery of final documents to the appropriate investors or doc custodians.
    • Remain knowledgeable on company and industry guidelines and processes.
    • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
