Our firm provides a full array of commercial and residential land development design; public works design including street and pavement design; water, sewer, and storm drain hydraulic modeling and infrastructure design; retaining wall and small structure design; and surveying and mapping services.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer II based out of our San Mateo office. This position will work under the general direction of a Project Manager or Supervising Engineer.

The OpportunityWe are looking for a California Registered PE or EIT candidate with eligibility to take the examination for registration, with a minimum of five years of experience.

This position is based in our San Mateo office and offers a potential hybrid environment, allowing work time to be divided between the office and home upon management approval.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity can work independently, has sound technical skills, is team-oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business.

This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who is experienced in civil engineering design.


Responsibilities:
Design of projects under direction of a registered EngineerPerforming studies, calculations, designs, and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards

Required Qualifications:

BS Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of five years of design experience, some project management experience is a plusCalifornia PE License or eligibility to take the examination for registrationProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with staff and project teamsWe offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company-paid medical and dental insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
