    Role Overview:
    Copado is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our financial consolidations and reporting processes.

    The role reports to the Head of Accounting and collaborates closely with other members of the finance leadership team to drive strategic initiatives.

    This role is pivotal in supporting our monthly accounting close, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and developing accurate and timely consolidated financial statements for our multi-entity multinational organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in accounting, a deep understanding of consolidation processes, and a strategic approach to financial management.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Consolidation:
    Lead the monthly accounting close process, ensuring the accurate consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities and jurisdictions

    Compliance and Standards:

    Guarantee compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS), keeping abreast of regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.


    Journal Entries and Reconciliations:
    Craft precise journal entries for financial statement consolidation and perform thorough reconciliations to uphold financial data integrity

    Accounting Memos:
    Produce detailed accounting memos to support Copados accounting processes, offering clarity on complex accounting issues

    Team Leadership:

    Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to promote professional growth and development.

    Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.


    Financial Analysis:
    Conduct financial analysis and performance metrics reporting to support management decision-making. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.


    Qualifications:
    CPA certification required; Masters degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical accounting, ideally within a multinational company.
    Profound knowledge of international accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) and financial consolidations.
    Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
    Ability to navigate a fast-paced and evolving environment independently.
