**Information Technology | Houston, TX | Contract**
Job Description InGenesis is currently seeking a **IT Support Specialist** to work with our client located in Houston, TX. In this role, you will work in clinical areas and work will begin after close of business.
Schedule: works 40 hours a week, 7-4 or 8-5 with frequent after hours (communicated in advance).

**Job Duties:**
Performs work in clinical areas and will begin working after close of business.
Take and send pictures on mobile device.
Performs duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Bachelors degree; May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
Computer savvy with the ability to document and create reports using Word and/or Excel
Auto CAD experience a plus (Knowledge of reading building plans/drawings).
BICIS cert preferred.
**Strongly Preferred Certifications:** BICSI ITS Installer II Copper/Fiber, BICSI ITS Technician, BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), CompTIA Network+ and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
**Experience:** 6 years of related work experience in personal computer operating system and business application software systems, to include five years in systems related to those in use by the institution.
**Preferred Experience:** Required experience plus experience with outside plant cabling standards, and knowledge of standards and practices involved with different types of buildings and the methods used to penetrate and install wiring, to include all horizontal and vertical wiring.
