- Conduct internal and supplier audits within an environment, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determining proper corrective actions and preventative actions.
- Lead production and quality teams through problem identification, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead initiatives to address product non-conformances, customer complaints and quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality and process.
- Support the development and implementation of quality control plans, including statistical process control (SPC) methods and tools.
- Responsible to drive a quality system built on continuous improvement to ensure no internal defects ship to customers. Analyze failure, corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints.
- Analyze quality data, metrics, and trends to identify areas of improvement and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Quality tools such as 80, 5-why, Fishbone diagrams, and process mapping.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance principles
- Experience with supplier quality management is preferred.
- Experience in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is preferred .
- Experience in Statistical Process Control{SPC) and related capability development .
- Experience in continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodology and techniques such as SS.
- Experience using 8D, 5-why, Fishbone diagrams and process mapping.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skill s for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
- Effective time management skills and ability to quickly respond to changing priorities
- Quick learner with a willingness to contribute in areas outside of the job description
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, etc.)
