Quality Control Manager - St. Louis

Job summary
The Role We Want You For The Quality Control Manager will implement oversee and manage all aspects of the Quality Control program This includes documentation and inspections performed by testing personnel and any others required by contract This role includes oversight of documentation and physical inspections close collaboration with in-house Project Managers Superintendents and external personnel to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product Coordinate document track preparatory initial and follow-up inspections Plan chair schedule weekly QC meetings with the Superintendent provide written reports Deliver daily QC reports aligned with project quality standards Collaborate with the project team to develop implement Quality Program Provide executive management ongoing updates recommendations Manage support quality teams executing quality program Identify appropriate standards procedures tasks Share best practices lessons learned training opportunities enterprise Drive implementation Site-Specific Quality Plans policies procedures Verify materials submittals handled properly suitable use Participate pre-construction meetings subcontractors superintendents Track deficiencies verify implementation corrective actions Help coordinate document building systems testing commissioning Ensure subcontractor compliance Project Site-Specific Safety Plan Perform safety audits company practices Maintain document conformance quality plan Monitor manage deficiencies resolution Understand testing inspection processes build agency relationships Evaluate subcontractor work accuracy Understand city county state inspection requirements receive TCO CO Requirements Bachelor degree Industrial Engineering Industrial Technology Construction Management related field equivalent relevant experience 5–15 years progressive construction experience increasing responsibility Strong analytical problem-solving skills attention detail Ability walk job sites climb ladders Some Things You Should Know This safety sensitive role subject background checks mandatory drug testing Travel required projects clients nationwide Collaborative design-build approach sets apart Projects creative complex high-profile award-winning Pace fast Why Clayco 2025 Best Places Work – St Louis Business Journal Los Angeles Business Journal Phoenix Business Journal 2025 ENR Midwest – Midwest Contractor (#1) 2025 ENR Top Design-Build Firms – Design-Build Contractor (Top 5) Benefits Discretionary Annual Bonus Based company individual performance Comprehensive Benefits Package including Medical dental vision plans
