    Position Overview:

    • Assist patients in selecting their daily meals based on prescribed diets.
    • Prepare and deliver meal trays and snacks according to physician orders.
    • Calculate specialized diets and fluid restrictions for meals.
    • Maintain pantry supplies in patient areas.
    • Handle various kitchen tasks including sanitation and temperature logs.
    • Operate computer systems for diet orders and snack processing.
    • Fulfill any other assigned duties in support of our mission.

    Job Requirements:

    • Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly.
    • Proficient in basic diet concepts with the ability to complete related training.
    • Build positive relationships with patients, staff, and managers.
    • Appreciate and adapt to diverse backgrounds and communication styles.
    • Focus on providing exceptional service to customers and clients.
    • Demonstrate dedication, persistence, and enthusiasm in all tasks.
    • Thrive in a dynamic and sometimes stressful work environment.
    • Maintain clear and professional communication at all times.
    • Meet physical demands such as standing, bending, and lifting.

    Working Environment:

    • Normal office or patient setting with occasional exposure to noise and hazards.
    • Kitchen environment with heat, humidity, and physical demands.
