- Oversee the purchasing of all material, equipment and supplies required by the company; direct and control the acquisition of material in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the most efficient cost to the company.
- Develop purchasing strategies and assess supplier profiles and analyze offers
- Purchase products for manufacturing production, plant maintenance and various departments
- Manage relationships with suppliers and keep updated records
- Develop multiple supply source competitive price quotations, blanket orders, OEM price schedules
- Expedite orders when necessary
- Arrange for the repair and return of incorrect or damaged material
- Work with Accounting Department on invoice discrepancies and any other issues with purchase order and invoice variances.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of end-to-end procurement process
- Solid ERP experience
- Experience with purchasing in a manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency with MS Office software
- Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider experience instead of degree

Growing manufacturer south of Arkansas City, KS is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have solid purchasing experience in manufacturing, heavy ERP experience and previous supervisory experience. This position will supervise a team of 3 employees. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Excellent benefits and will provide relocation for the right candidate.
