Job Mission: Responsible and accountable for accurate and timely follow up of assigned payers on billed accounts receivable. Identifying trends in delayed or denied payments by insurance companies to remediate issues and ensure timely payments when billed. Ensures accounts are followed up on with diligence with particular focus on aged and high dollar accounts.

Occupational Experience: Two years of experience in medical collections, hospital collections preferred.

Requires: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Specialty Knowledge Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of medical office terminology. Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry skills.
