Job summary
The Anesthesia Tech will perform various patient care safety and technical duties to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas.- Assists with anesthesia supplies medications equipment management within scope of practice as directed by anesthesia pharmacy.
- Cleans disinfects instruments high level disinfection processing.
- Responds to needs of anesthesia providers performs patient identification procedures ensure proper delivery blood products medications operates surgical equipment direction licensed provider ensures Operating Rooms procedure rooms adequately stocked supplies required equipment cleans equipment implements infection control policies support anesthesia practices surgical procedural areas assists nursing patients care environmental maintenance activities Operating Room helps room turnover including stocking cleaning wiping down anesthesia carts between cases sterile processing duties sterilization high level disinfection cleaning disinfection instruments equipment
