    Company Description

    The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for conducting one-on-one consultation and assessment with individuals to determine eligibility and suitability for assistance-based programs. The Outreach Coordinator will also travel around the state of Rhode Island providing support and assistance with applications.

    Job Description
    • Meets with customers in advance of the assessment or other services to review documentation
    • Collects customer documents to be reviewed during the assessment process
    • Provides written materials about the program and services, answers questions, and explains program benefits
    • Generates reports, including data from the computer system, printed reports, and/or other available information
    • Assesses customer need for accommodations to participate in the assessment process and program activities and takes appropriate action(s) to address
    • Maintains records related to the assessment, service processes, and service delivery staff
    • Ensures customer files are complete and documents are appropriately signed off
    • Helps customers with using resource room technology and other services
    • Assists customers with resume development, job applications, interviewing skills, and other tools needed to successfully find employment
    • Supports care managers with scheduling appointments and managing unit calendars
    • Manages the program work areas, ensures they have adequate supplies and are welcoming to customers
    • Prepares customer workshops, rooms, and other materials as needed
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Four to six years of experience in workforce development and customer service
    • Knowledge of federal and state-based assistance programs preferred
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Bilingual in Spanish
