    Job Title: Diagnostics Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Preference for Experienced Candidates)



    Company Overview: Our company, located in Cupertino, CA, is in search of a dedicated Diagnostics Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 12-month project. If you enjoy working with Mac and iOS diagnostic tools and are passionate about ensuring optimal performance for customers, then this opportunity is perfect for you.

    Key Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in software-based QA or a related field
    • Familiarity with UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for log analysis
    • Expertise in core QA methodologies, including test plan creation, test case development, and regression testing
    • Advanced troubleshooting skills for hardware and software
    • Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in collecting and tracking testing data

    Job Summary: As a Diagnostics Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Your role will involve collaborating with developers, reporting and prioritizing issues using bug-tracking software, and providing accurate QA status updates to project managers and team leads.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute end-to-end test plans in coordination with developers
    • Report and prioritize issues using bug-tracking software
    • Provide timely and accurate QA status updates to project managers
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product readiness
    • Contribute to enhancing the overall QA process by identifying gaps in testing coverage

    Additional Requirements:
    • Experience with hardware test fixtures is advantageous
    • Knowledge of testing automation software and scripting on macOS and iOS platforms is a plus

    Education: A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
