- Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced level of knowledge in nuclear medicine by providing patient care as defined by the most up to day protocols and procedures.
- Interacts with patients and co-workers by displaying the values of caring, listening, dignity and respect.
- Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team.
- Performs all responsibilities of Level I Nuclear Medicine tech including maintains proper records of radiopharmaceuticals and calculates, measures and records patient dose. Performs all quality control checks on imaging and non-imaging equipment. Properly identifies all patients and provides instructions for exams. Competently performs all nuclear medicine exams and codes and tracks exams in RIS.
- Assist with educating staff and student technologists to provide technical guidance and education.
- Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
- Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
- Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
- ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Responsibilities:
2 Years nuclear medicine experience required.
Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
