- Patient Account Liaison Needed for Full-Time Position: Are you ready for a rewarding role where you will assist patients in navigating the financial aspects of their surgical procedures? Join our dynamic team as a Patient Account Liaison and play a key role in helping patients understand surgery costs, insurance coverage, and payment options.
- Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients on surgery costs and insurance coverage.
- Assist patients with health plan benefits coverage and financial responsibilities.
- Guide uninsured patients on payment options and set up payment agreements.
- Inform patients about expected costs for upcoming services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable collections.
- Preferably experience in Orthopaedic or other surgical specialty billing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with face-to-face and telephone patient interactions.
