Job Description:
Support company's business users in the use of Supply Chain applications.
Demonstrate increasing technical skill and the ability to recommend and implement solutions and perform work of increasing complexity, size, scope, and impact.
Work closely with internal customers to understand business needs and requirements, and provide suggestions for appropriate information technology solutionsHelp formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify complex information systems
Prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be implemented or modified
Assist with vendor communications, installations, testing, documentation, and diagnosis /resolution of issues
Competent to work at an advanced technical level on all phases of applications systems analysis and configuration activities
Actively engage in large project implementations
Build and maintain working relationships with other IT groups and resources to deliver seam less support to customers
Provide guidance and training to less-experienced analysts
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; consideration given for related technical and/or oil and gas experience
Minimum of four (4) years related experience as Oracle ERP SCM Functional analyst is required; consideration given for related technical aptitude
Experience working on multiple complex Oracle SCM implementations and preparing the key implementation documents ( Setup Documents (BR 100), Functional Test Scripts and Functional Design (MD50) as per Oracle AIM standards).
Excellent functional knowledge of Oracle SCM modules like Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, iProcurementTechnical understanding of data flow, Oracle tables, SQL is helpful
Understanding of the Order Management, Purchasing, and Inventory related requirements of customers and ability to translate those into solutions in Oracle
Strong ability to coordinate across multiple teams to drive results within approved budget and timelines is a must
Ability to manage competing priorities among different solution tracks and find optimum solution
Training or experience in databases and scripting or programming is preferred
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Must demonstrate desire to learn
Work experience in Oil and Gas / Manufacturing domain is highly preferred
