Are you a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) seeking an exciting opportunity in Northampton, MA? Soliant Health is currently looking for an experienced RNFA to join our team in one of the leading healthcare facilities in Northampton. As an RNFA, you will play a crucial role in providing perioperative care and surgical assistance to patients undergoing various procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing surgical exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure under the direction of the surgeon.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to anesthesia throughout the perioperative period, recognizing and responding to any changes or complications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to surgical standards and protocols.
• Provide patient education regarding preoperative and postoperative care, including discharge instructions and follow-up appointments.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RNFA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
