    Job Title: MEP Estimator

    Overview: Are you a meticulous MEP Estimator interested in joining a vibrant team in the heart of New York City? We are looking for an individual who can provide precise cost estimations for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on sizable commercial projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial construction projects.
    • Analyze blueprints and other documents to create accurate estimates for time, materials, and labor.
    • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to develop estimates and address any potential challenges.
    • Utilize specialized software like Trimble AutoBid for efficient estimating processes.
    • Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of projects, products, or services by comparing actual costs to initial bids.
    • Engage with industry professionals to enhance estimates and tackle issues.
    • Maintain a comprehensive database of historical data for future reference.
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and effective practices in MEP estimation.

    Qualifications:

    • Must reside in New York City.
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • At least three years of MEP estimating background, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Demonstrated experience with major commercial projects.
    • Proficient in estimation software such as Trimble AutoBid.
    • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively.
    • Consistent work history reflecting dependability and commitment.
