    Job Title: Lead Data Analyst

    Job Location: Detroit, MI area (Hybrid model: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

    Duration: 12 Months

    Position Overview:

    Looking for a dynamic Data Analyst who excels in both technical analysis and client engagement. This role will provide hands-on data analysis expertise while also guiding them through their data strategy journey. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work, and will have a knack for leveraging out-of-the-box solutions to deliver agile and flexible solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical aspects of data analysis projects for mid-sized clients, balancing on-site and remote work as required.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable data strategies.
    • Utilize out-of-the-box solutions and agile methodologies to deliver flexible and efficient data analysis solutions.
    • Design and implement data models and algorithms to extract insights from complex datasets, focusing on practical, real-world applications.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings to assess their data needs and provide strategic guidance on data-driven initiatives.
    • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to clients, showcasing analysis findings and recommending agile solutions to address their evolving needs.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance our data analysis capabilities and deliver maximum value to clients.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably working with mid-sized clients.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages, with a focus on leveraging out-of-the-box solutions.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other agile visualization platforms.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
    • Proven ability to work in an agile, flexible manner, adapting quickly to changing client needs and project requirements.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
    • Certifications in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) is nice to have but not a requirement.
