    Job Description

    Summary

    The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing branch operations, sales, and administration. They lead the team, create a positive work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role is hands-on, focused on business growth by implementing strategies to enhance productivity and profitability while maintaining key performance indicators.

    • Maintain and expand market share with new and existing customers.
    • Prepare budgets and forecast annually.
    • Build strong relationships with key accounts.
    • Monitor profitability and improve cost control.
    • Recruit, train, and retain branch staff.
    • Develop pricing and promotion strategies to drive sales.
    • Enhance vendor relationships and improve margins.
    • Optimize inventory control and accounts receivable.
    • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborate with finance on warehouse investments.
    • Resolve product, service, and operational issues effectively.

    Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
    • Prior management experience
    • Teamwork, multitasking, and leadership abilities
    • Effective negotiation and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Background in distribution or construction industry preferred

    Work Environment

    Combination of office and warehouse/fabrication setting

    Physical Demands

    May involve walking, standing, lifting, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
