    Job Description

    InstroTek, Inc. is looking for a skilled Director to oversee financial and accounting functions. This role involves managing financial risk, planning, reporting, compliance, and leading the accounting team. It requires a hands-on approach to all financial aspects.

    We are a manufacturing company with a strong R&D team based in RTP, NC, producing products used for quality control globally.

    To be considered, candidates need a BS degree in accounting/finance (MBA preferred), 10+ years experience in senior financial roles, ERP familiarity, and experience in research, development, and manufacturing organizations.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day oversight of financial functions
    • Financial planning for future needs
    • Analyze financial performance and market trends
    • Develop financial strategies aligning with company goals
    • Drive process improvements in accounting operations
    • Collect and manage financial data
    • Create internal financial policies
    • Manage audits and tax filings
    • Financial analysis and reporting
    • Month-end closings, forecasts, audits, and controls
    • Improve financial reporting processes
    • Work with company leaders on planning
    • Coach and lead the accounting team
    • Implement accounting standards and procedures
    • Various financial tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in finance and accounting
    • Manufacturing and inventory management experience
    • Corporate accounting management abilities
    • Proficient in financial planning
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Build trust with customers
    • High professionalism and attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrates confidence and work ethic

    Requirements:

    • Accounting leadership in production
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
    • CPA certification preferred
    • 10+ years experience in accounting
    • Financial analysis expertise
    • Knowledge of GAAP
    • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
