    About this role:

    .Amira is seeking a community manager to engage and support Amira's growing community of educators. Amira's mission is to give every child the opportunity to become a masterful reader. The Community Manager will ensure that teachers are equipped with the right resources and professional development to support accelerated reading growth for students reading with Amira.

    You will work with the rest of the Amira organization to set up ways to build and sustain educator engagement.

    Who You Are:

    • Experienced with literacy instruction/have teaching experience
    • Experienced in creating instructional resources and engaging professional development
    • Highly collaborative and responsive with internal and external stakeholders
    • Clear and impactful communicator, including the ability to listen for understanding and customize materials for different audiences
    • Able to develop metrics for engagement success
    • Proven ability to manage a complex program and drive delivery
    • Understanding of the needs of teachers and educators around reading content and resources
    • Able to facilitate engaging professional development sessions
    • Have designed and delivered learning content across multiple platforms
    • Have created automated and scalable email and social campaigns
    • Open to collaborative feedback
    • Bilingual (Spanish)

    What You'll Do:

    • Ensure that student who have access to Amira are able to read successfully because their teachers and schools have the supports they need
    • Build out our Certified Educator and Champion programs
    • Develop and execute engagement campaigns to drive engagement
    • Constantly review user metrics, using data to adjust and improve efficacy
    • Collaborate with the Director of Learning Design to build learning pathways for all Amira's educators
    • Create and edit instructional content
    • Plan and facilitate regular meetings and professional development for educators

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, and/or relevant experience, preferably in the Education SaaS industry
    • Ability to operate in a highly efficient manner by multitasking in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
    • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented thinking skills.
    • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals and targets.
    • Great interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
    • Experience working across remote teams.
