    ASE Certified Mechanic

    If you're an ASE Certified Mechanic, we have a great full-time opportunity with a local tire company in Hilo.

    Qualified candidates will have skills and experience in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle needs and issues.

    Full-time, 7:30am-4:30pm

    Location


    Hilo, Big Island

    Pay


    $20 to $30 an hour

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect vehicle mechanical components and engines.
    • Operate basic specialized equipment such as lifts, alignment machines, battery charger/tester, AC recycler, etc.
    • Maintain clean and organized work area.
    • Provide all customers with excellent service.
    • Perform tire related duties as required or needed, if no mechanical worker is available.
    • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.


    Qualifications

    • ASE Certification required, must be current on certification and trainings as required for certification.
    • Minimum 5 years of mechanic, auto maintenance, small engine repair experience.
    • Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Must have own tools.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
