    Risk Analyst Intro

    Risk Analyst Job Details
    This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in our Chicago office.

    The role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend or convert to full-time employment based on performance and budget approval.

    You will be engaged in day-to-day operations, focusing on identifying control gaps and assessing risk within various processes.


    Risk Analyst Mandatory Skills

    • 24 years of risk management experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
    • Skilled in analytical reviews.
    • Ability to identify gaps in controls or processes.
    • Capable of reviewing and assessing requests for information and audit requests.
    • General understanding of risks, controls, and residual risks.
    • Familiarity with the three lines of defense model.
    • Proven experience working within a team environment.

    Risk Analyst Desired Skills

    • Knowledge or experience in Operational Risk Management.
    • Experience leading projects.
    • Understanding of regulatory compliance, Internal Audit, and SRletters.
    • Skills in programming or developing metrics.

    Risk Analyst Soft Skills

    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to make timely, factbased decisions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Adaptable and able to work effectively in varying environments.
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
    • Robust analytical and organizational skills.
