Exempt
Duties/Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with Hazardous Waste Program requirements (including hazardous waste handling, storage, manifesting, and disposal)
Implement the
Environmental Protection Plan (EPP)
Ensures environmental permits are obtained,
maintained
, and closed out; ensure compliance with Stormwater Program requirements
Ensures compliance with Hazardous Materials (storage, handling, and reporting) requirements; and
coordinate
s
any remediation of regulated substances (lead, asbestos, PCB transformers)
Ensure
s
waste segregation and storage compatibility requirements are met; inspect and manage Satellite Accumulation areas
Ensures only authorized personnel add wastes to containers
Ensures onsite personnel are trained in 40 CFR requirements
in accordance with
their position requirements
Coordinate removal of waste containers
Maintains the Environmental Records binder and
required
documentation, including environmental
permits
compliance and close-out

Education and Experience
Required:
Master's Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering or Managementfrom an accredited university or college.
Required:
at least three (3) or more yearsof relevant working experience in Environmental Engineering or Management.
Required:
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Oklahoma.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to
lift up
to 15 pounds at times.
Occasional field work (monitoring/surveying) may be
required
.
