- Manage and streamline the intake process for BI requests through platforms like Asana, ensuring timely and organized handling of stakeholder queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements, enabling the delivery of impactful ad hoc analyses.
- Play a crucial role in the ongoing data transition from the existing data warehouse to a new data lake, aligning BI operations with the data migration timeline.
- Prioritize and categorize requests based on urgency, complexity, and alignment with data transition goals.
- Act as a dedicated BI contact for specific business domains, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs.
- Conduct regular check-ins and clarification meetings to gather additional details for accurate ad hoc analyses and provide updates on ongoing tasks.
- Develop and maintain report documentation and bring alignment with other groups within the company using this documentation.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Gradually empower business domains for self-service reporting within PowerBI workspaces.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of criteria for endorsing self-service reports, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in report development using BI tools.
- 3+ years of coding in SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience with statistical analysis is a plus.
- Proficiency in visualization tools like PowerBI, and project management tools like Asana.
- Solid analytical skills with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data manipulation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings and insights effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage and organize complex datasets.
- Basic understanding of real estate concepts and/or investment principles.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
